The Wilds of Florida Part 1

Over these past few days I have been spending my April Break in south Florida, which is a literal gold mine for nature lovers. I have really tried to focus on the reptile and amphibian life, especially tortoises, turtles, gators and geckos, as well as other creatures like birds and insects. Enjoy these pics I got of the unique south Florida wildlife so far!

Pics 1-7: An endangered Gopher Tortoise I found while walking in the nature preserve in Abacoa FL

Pics 8-19: Various lizards and geckos found in Palm Beach FL

Pic 20: A cooter surfacing in Boynton Beach FL

Pics 21-22: A large gator in Boynton Beach FL

I hope you enjoyed this Wild Side of South Florida Post!
